How Long Can the Hubble Space Telescope Operate Reliably? – A Total Dose Perspective

Supported by the Hubble Space Telescope Program, this paper describes the use of NOVICE to analyze radiation concerns serious enough to have potentially resulted in a total halt of science operations. The paper also briefly discusses some advantages of NOVICE that the HST Program values in particular.
